Delete Your Account

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in Zedmo, the daily puzzle app by Plagueworks, and what happens to your data when you do.

Deleting your account permanently removes it, along with your streaks, statistics and puzzle history, on every device. This cannot be undone, and a deleted streak cannot be restored.

Before you delete: cancel Zedmo Plus

Deleting your account does not cancel a Zedmo Plus subscription. Your subscription belongs to your Google Play account, and only you can cancel it. To stop future charges:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Zedmo and tap Cancel subscription.

Delete your account in the app

If you have signed in with Google:

  1. Open Zedmo.
  2. Tap your profile picture at the top right of the home screen.
  3. Tap the settings gear at the top right.
  4. Under Account, tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and its data are deleted from our servers immediately, and the app returns to a fresh start.

If you play without signing in

If you have never signed in, your history is backed up under an anonymous ID that exists only inside the app on your phone. Because nothing else identifies you, we cannot find that data from an email.

To delete it, sign in with Google from your profile screen (this keeps your existing history on the same account), then follow the steps above. Uninstalling the app only removes the copy on your phone; it does not delete the backup on our servers.

Delete your account without the app

If you signed in with Google and no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the Google account email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Zedmo account". We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, and let you know when it is done.
